We’re obviously obsessed with EDM music, witnessed by our constant posts of EDM music and our numerous interviews with some of our favorite DJ’s like Kaskade and Sander van Doorn.  We would probably have to post 5-10 times a day in our DJ Raannt section just to cover all of the EDM music we love, not to mention all of the other genres.  Honestly, we didn’t know much about Krewella before we saw them open for Benny Benassi before the Indy 500 race this year.  As soon as they hit the stage, the audience went crazy and we fell in love! Not only are Krewella incredibly badass but their beats are mixed with just enough vocals and electronic vibe that they are the perfect combination.  Our current favorite song is Alive…check it out below and let us know what you think!

We…Love…Karmin! So of course we were super excited when the video for their newest single Hello was released today.  If that wasn’t excitement enough, the duo’s lead lady Amy Heidemann has been nominated for Rolling Stone‘s Women Who Rock Contest to put her on the cover of Rolling Stone.  After you watch the new video, make sure you go to her website here and vote for Karmin to be on the cover of Rolling Stone!

Several months ago we were dancing around our bathroom, listening to GIRL Radio while getting ready to go out for the night.  Suddenly, this happy, poppy song came on and we found ourselves wondering who this chick was that sounded a little bit like Nicki Minaj.  We snapped a picture of the song and went on about our night, the photo being lost in our photo album until tonight when we were deleting old pictures.  Upon finding the snapped picture of the GIRL Radio screen with the title at the top, we programmed it into YouTube and found the video for Abie Flinstone‘s Get Outta My Way.  While jamming to the song we did a little research and found that she had released the single in the US last January.  Born in the Philippines and now residing in Belgium, this 21 year old is determined to make a name for herself in the music industry.  While we love the song and feel it’s a major contender, we’d like to see what she could do if she really let loose with her lyrics.  She recently released a preview of her single Moon Walking, which is diverse in that she intertwines rap beats with a more electron dance feel.  We’ve put both songs below so you can check her out and see what you think! We believe she could be the next big thing…We’re just happy we looked through our old pictures!

Have you guys heard Throw Your Hands Up by Qwote Featuring Pitbull and Lucenzo? Although the song came out almost a year ago, it’s getting played all over the world right now and becoming one of the best club songs of the summer.  We love it and hadn’t posted it so we wanted to add to the frenzy by throwing it up! Mike Candys.  How could you not love that name. We obviously do because this is his 2nd hit we’ve put up as a nominee for THE Summer Anthem of 2012.  (Don’t worry, details about the final pick will be coming soon!).  Candys‘ hit Sunshine is making it’s way to the top of both US and European dance charts and is the perfect summer jam.  If you haven’t seen the video or heard the song, check it out below.  You won’t be surprised why Sunshine made our list and Carly Rae Jepson’s Call Me Maybe did not! But…don’t fret Carly fans…she’s moving up the dance charts too…So like, check it out…

We just love turning this song on full blast and dancing all around our house.  Da Bop by WTF has spent 9 weeks on the European Dance Chart and is moving up week by week.  We love the old school sound similar to We Speak No Americano by the infamous Yolanda Be Cool Vrs DCup, which is one of all time favorites! Tie on your funky, colored wingtips or slip into your peek-a-boo pumps and dance your ass off! We’ve included both videos below to let you see the similarity, although both are original and masterful in their own right! We think Da Bop might be our absolutely new favorite…and possibly the best song to take us into Fall 2012!

After 18 weeks, Can’t Stop Me by Afrojack & Shermanology is now at #10 having been at #12 last week.  Our prediction is that by the end of the summer, it will be in the #1 slot.  We of course LOVE Afrojack and are convinced this might be the contender for Summer Anthem of 2012.  What do you think?

After months of being forced to listen to Carly Rae Jepsen while out at clubs, we’re stating to think a move to Europe might be in order, since their club dance list this summer has dominated the music scene.  Beating it’s way through the clubs is the newest single by Matt Houston Ft. P-Square Positif! We totally love this song not to mention the video.  Matt even looks like a young LL Cool J and may be the next big name on the mix between Hip Hop and Dance…we’ll see.

Almost 30 years ago KC & The Sunshine Band released their single Give It Up.  We’ve posted a live version of it below just to remind you how incredibly awesome those dudes were back in the day! This summer Andrew Spencer has remade the song and DJ’s all over the world are spinning the shit out it.  The single has only been on the Euro Dance Charts for 2 weeks and in one week moved from #83 to #30! Holy retro summer! We’re obsessed and think it might just be cheesy enough and beachy enough to be the perfect summer anthem.  Check out both versions below!
