HBO’s Looking…Sexiest New TV Show!

We weren’t really sure what to expect with HBO’s new series Looking, which follows the lives of a group of gay friends in San Francisco.  Would it be cliched? Would it be pure sex?  Would it be this generation’s Queer as Folk?  What we found pleasantly surprised us.

The group of friends, mostly drawn together by lead character Patrick, display the varying different aspects of gay life in today’s times, from monogamous relationships, to threesomes, dating sites, first dates, the irony of Facebook stalking, career choices and chance encounters.  Looking is wise, smart and endearing.  We fell in love with these guys in the first few minutes and at the end of the first episode, were begging for more.

We love the look and feel of the show, from the sexy style of these guys in their late 20’s to early 40’s, their artsy yet shabby apartments and their rugged exteriors, all to the backdrop of a very real San Francisco, filled with dirty streets and late night train rides.

And if you’re wondering about how HBO will authentically be dealing with sex in Looking…watch the first episode to find out.  Needless to say, the address the issues of commitment and love, while taking raw and vulnerable risks in one fell swoop.  One thing is for certain, the show will not be making one statement about gay life in today’s times, but instead, show that life and experience is different for every gay man.

HBO New HOT summer drama series: The Leftovers

When 2% of the world’s population abruptly disappears without explanation, the world struggles to understand just what they’re supposed to do about it. Three years later, the new HBO drama series THE LEFTOVERS is the story of the people who didn’t make the cut.

Damon Lindelof (Emmy® winner for “Lost”) and acclaimed novelist Tom Perrotta (Academy Award® nominee for “Little Children”; “Election”) collaborate on THE LEFTOVERS, which begins production of its ten-episode season in New York early this year for summer debut. Lindelof serves as the series showrunner.

Based on Perrotta’s bestselling novel of the same name, THE LEFTOVERS is an original look at The Rapture…because it’s not entirely clear The Rapture happened. Peter Berg directed the pilot from a script by Lindelof and Perrotta. Lindelof and Perrotta executive produce the series along with Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey; Ron Yerxa and Albert Berger co-executive produce. The series is produced for HBO by Adventure Corps in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Set in a small New York suburb, THE LEFTOVERS follows Justin Theroux (“Mulholland Drive”; HBO’s “John Adams” and “Six Feet Under”) as Kevin Garvey, a father of two and the chief of police, who is trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy when the notion no longer applies. Additional series regulars include: Amy Brenneman (“Private Practice”); Christopher Eccleston (“Thor: The Dark World”); Liv Tyler ( 8220;The Strangers,” “The Lord of the Rings”); Charlie Carver (“Desperate Housewives”); Max Carver (“Desperate Housewives”); Carrie Coon (“Gone Girl”); Ann Dowd (“Side Effects”); Michael Gaston (“The Mentalist”); Emily Meade (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”); Annie Q (“The Reluctant Professor”); Margaret Qualley; Amanda Warren (“The Adjustment Bureau”); and Chris Zylka (“The Amazing Spider-Man”).

Mixology…New ABC Series! 2 Thumbs Up!

Mixology. One bar. One night. This high-concept comedy from the writers of “The Hangover” chronicles the misadventures of 10 people in search of love. Or sex. But mostly love. Okay fine, sex.

Recently dumped by his fiancée, Tom (Blake Lee) hasn’t been out on the town in a decade. His best friends, the handsome, confident Cal (Craig Frank) and wiseass Bruce (Andrew Santino), are throwing Tom back into the dating pool whether he likes it or not. Tom’s first encounter is with Maya (Ginger Gonzaga), an attorney who’s as beautiful as she is brutal. Before long, Tom is in tears. But the night is still young and the boys have plenty of people to meet in Mix’s chic crowd, including Maya’s engaged friend, Liv (Kate Simses), aggressive and sexy single mom Jessica (Alexis Carra), Jessica’s gorgeous yet catty frenemy Fabienne (Frankie Shaw), bubbly cocktail waitress Kacey (Vanessa Lengies), hot and mysterious bartender Dominic (Adan Canto), and failed internet entrepreneur Ron (Adam Campbell). As the night unfolds and closing time approaches, some people may get lucky while others are destined to spend the night alone. The question of the season is…who’s going home with whom?

“Mixology” premieres WEDNESDAY, February 26 (9:30 – 10:00  p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

1. Introduce yourself in 5 words or less.

I would say I’m- fun-loving, loyal, hot-headed, quick witted, and opinionated.

2. What’s the one thing that people know you for?

I think it’s a toss-up between my sassy “one liners” and my Hermes handbag collection.

3. What makes you a #Richkid of Beverly Hills?

Obviously from the surface people will say I am a #RichKid of Beverly Hills because of my family and the lifestyle I’ve been fortunate enough to have. But, I think more than having money, a #RichKid of Beverly Hills is someone that is well-off and unapologetic about and the life they choose to lead. A #RichKid is someone that has opinions and speaks their mind (the personality-less wealthy socialite is sooooo boring and dated).

4. What should E! fans expect from #Richkid of Beverly Hills?

E! fans should be ready to laugh and have a lot of fun with us, but be warned it is kind of a bumpy ride! They will see us flying high and living it up, but also witness our personal struggles, fights, and disappointments. It’s a coming of age series, but FUNNY and FABULUXE. It’s a total behind-the-scenes view into our lives and relationships with each other.

a. Morgan Stewart– Marry: we get along awkwardly well and she’s the only person I know more entertaining than myself… am I allowed to say that?

6. How do you define sexy?

Sexiness is all about confidence and swag, without being overly cocky of course. Having a great smile, sense of humor, and being chivalrous obviously doesn’t hurt either!

7. What is the sexiest hotel? City? Club? Place to party? Thing to buy?

Hotel- Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali

City- London

Club- It’s no secret I love to club, but one thing needs to be clear, a club is not sexy. Clubs are a lot of fun but messy. Some of my favorite clubs are: Hooray Henry’s (LA), LIV (Miami), XS (Las Vegas), 1OAK (New York), Monkey Lounge (Shanghai), Cirque Du Soir (London), Pacha (Ibiza)

Place to party- The sexiest place to party is definitely a well-planned private house or penthouse party.

Thing to buy- I hate to be cliché, but lingerie will just always be the sexiest thing to buy.

8. What is something about you we wouldn’t know by looking at you?

People are usually surprised that I love to cook and bake- and that I’m actually really good at it! #DOMESTIC

9. What do you want people to remember you by?

Wow getting very deep here… I want people to remember me by the person that I am underneath all the glam, diamonds, big personality, and designer clothes. I want to be remembered for having a kind heart and strong head on my shoulders.

10. What are your three simple luxuries?

Going to the movies, lounging in a fluffy robe, and a good burger and fries!

#RichKids of Beverly Hills is Trending!

Finally a true show that showcases the lives of sexy twenty-something top 1%ers! No really, with #RichKids of Beverly Hills, premiering January 19th 10/9c, E! introduces a new series that showcases the lives of five #RichKids that have no credit limit and lives filled with drama to match the bill.  We had the pleasure to screen the first episode and were instantly obsessed! We were introduced to the real version of Serena and Blair (Gossip Girl duh!), the Naomi and Teddy (90210 duh again) and a new character these previous fictional shows didn’t have: a kind of a push-over yet really nice and loveable boyfriend that pretty much is a real-estate mogul millionaire.  All in all, we love the cast, the extras (loubs and berkins), the friends, and all the craziness they have in store for us!  Don’t be turned off by the luxurious lives of these #RichKids, be turned on by it! We sure the hell were!!!

The 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show “Sneek Peek” with Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy!

Seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Taylor Swift, GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World and Neon Jungle will perform on The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show tonight (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  This year’s fashion show will include world-famous Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo and many more.  The lingerie runway show will also include pink carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s most celebrated fashion show.

Also in the show, Candice Swanepoel will walk the runway wearing the $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra, designed exclusively for Victoria’s Secret by world-renowned jeweler Mouawad. The one-of-a-kind Dream Angels Demi Bra and matching belt will be worn on the runway in homage to Victoria’s Secret heritage.  The set is adorned with more than 4,200 rubies, blue and yellow sapphires and diamonds hand-set in 18-karat gold, and boasts a 52-carat pear-shaped ruby drop centerpiece.

Who Is the Cast of Queens on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6???

Several days ago, LOGO TV started mysteriously revealing cast members of Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, via the LOGO first reveals the boy picture of each queen, asking for so many likes, and once that is achieved, the cast member is revealed in drag! Quite a lot of work to find out the new cast, but RuPaul’s Drag Race fans are like none other and are chomping at the bit to figure out who is the cast of the next season.  If you follow drag forums and threads, people have some pretty serious fights about the authenticity of the cast, stating things like, “NO!!!! I just saw her the other day at the Clinic get tested so she CAN’T be on the show!!!”

E! Announces new season of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians” Premiering January 2014…Supertease!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians - Season 8

E!’s most-watched series 2013, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” returns for an all new season starting in January, and will chronicle what is perhaps the most tumultuous and challenging period the family has faced since the show began.  With recent separations, a new baby on board, kids leaving the nest and a new engagement, this is a family that is evolving through a period of tremendous change, yet remains committed to its core values and still treasures time together.  Always outspoken and rarely guarded, Kris, Bruce, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Rob, Kendall and Kylie meet life’s challenges and triumphs head on, celebrating the good in their trademark high style, and unconditionally supporting one another through the bad. 

This season the family members make tough choices, share hearty laughs, and strike out on their own, yet always come back together for the family gatherings that remain the backbone of life as a Kardashian.  The family openly discusses their feelings about Kris and Bruce living apart, and the three older sisters spend more time together than ever, as Kourtney and Kim make it their mission to support Khloé, who faces continuing uncertainty about the future of her marriage to Lamar Odom.  Rob commits himself fully to the designer sock business and moves into his own place, while younger sister Kendall contemplates moving into a home of her own as well. 

Is there drama?  You bet – especially when Kris starts to feel like she’s getting additional space at home, Kim decides to reclaim some of it for her new family.

Season nine of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premieres in January 2014…and we can’t wait!

Why have you returned to Project Runway?

To be the first 2 win both titles.

What have been your most enjoyable and most difficult challenges so far and why?

I felt the most connection with the first challenge. The bug one, not so much.

Who is your toughest competition?

Myself. I can over think and spin out of control. I just need to feel and I’m kool.
