As Insomniac continues on the road to Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas, 2014 we are excited to announce travel packages and entertainment available for all to join us on the tropical island of Puerto Rico at EDC on September 13 and 14 at Parque Luis Muñoz in San Juan.

“I’m excited to continue the road to EDC Las Vegas, 2014 with a stop in beautiful Puerto Rico. We’ve expanded the festival to a two-day event to take advantage of the amazing venue at Parque Luis Muñoz Marín,” said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac. “The Puerto Rico installment of EDC offers such a unique and beautiful environment for festivalgoers. EDC, Puerto Rico creates something extremely unique for both local fans of dance music and also offers a one-of-a-kind destination for those in the States.”

Travel packages provide dance music enthusiasts with the chance to enjoy the festival in this truly unique setting while also creating the opportunity for them to explore the picturesque island of Puerto Rico. Packages include rooms with hotel partner, The Caribe Hilton, a luxury hotel set in 17 acres of exotic gardens. Before or after the music festival, EDC guests can unwind with friends in beachside hammocks or relive festival memories poolside or on the beach.

Insomniac will also highlight local DJ’s by giving more than 30 performers the chance to play across all four stages including a designated locals-only stage during both days of the festival.

Tickets and travel packages are now available for purchase. Two-day general admission passes are priced at $70 and two-day VIP tickets are $100 before service fees. VIP amenities include a separate VIP entrance to the festival for rapid entry, access to special decks overlooking the stage, a full cash bar and private restroom facilities, as well as two complimentary Coors Light beers and a souvenir laminate and lanyard.

Single day tickets will be available at a later date. General admission travel packages are $769 for a two-night stay and $999 for three nights. Fans looking for the ultimate VIP experience at the event can book a two or three night escape for $839 or $1079, respectively. EDC Puerto Rico is an 18 and older event.

The first EDC London was a hit! EDC London at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park offered its attendees five different stages throbbing with killer beats and performers! The park was fully transformed to include EDC classic carnival rides, theatrical performers and the art installations creating visual landscapes EDC lovers have come to love and expect!

EDC London housed 50K fans on its closing day, offering them unique experiences throughout the grounds. Fans could interact with theatrical performers, including the Lollipop girls, listen to groundbreaking musical performances or seek adventure as they flew above the show on a zip-line.

This Memorial Day Weekend marked the very first EDC Chicago… and man did it leave a mark on the EDM map!! The lineup was incredible! The sites were just like the ones in EDC Vegas! And the weather… well the weather can suck it but the party went on! Day 1:

Approximately 20,000 excited EDC fans enjoyed five stages with more than 60 musical acts including theatrical performers, a surprise appearance by the Redbull Skydiving team as well as Insomniac’s signature interactive art installations, full-scale carnival rides and a stunning 7-minute fireworks display.

Day 2:

The lineup for day 2 was incredible! Show after show after show filled with the best beats dropped by the best in the EDM biz! Day 2 was filled with about 24,000 fans filled with EDC spirit brought harder than day one!

Day 3:

The final day of EDC’s first Midwest adventure has come to a close. Over the last 3 days, Insomniac hosted more than 150 diverse musical acts, performers and approximately 65,000 enthusiastic festivalgoers through rain and sunny skies. The EDC experience began Thursday afternoon with the opening of the very first EDC campgrounds. Campers were encouraged to interact with their fellow campers through tie-dying sessions, totem pole decorating, arts and crafts and a camping pre-party Thursday night.

To say having EDC in Chicago was killer is an understatement! Lets’ hope Insomniac brings it back next year!!!

Feenixpawl – the Australian team who produced the smash singles In My Mind  and Universe  – are back for a summer tour of North America. In support of the tour, the boys are giving away their dance floor rendition of The Alan Parsons Project’s Sirius. Any sports fan will recognize Sirius as the entry song for The Chicago Bulls and (very random) former WWF superstar Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. 

This killer EDM duo has created yet another smash hit! With incredible high beats, drops, and high energy rhythms that pushes your body to shake all throughout the track! Their perfect combination of high energy notes and low bass beats make each and every single one of their tracks unique and a defiantly must play into any DJ set!

We love music and we love summer and summer music festivals are the perfect combination of both!  They are literally the glue that holds summer together.  We all look forward to late sumer nights, days by the pool, unbearable (but much loved) summer heat, night swims and tan lines. But what we really love the most are the music festivals. Whether it’s just a local summer fest or a multi mil festival production, music festivals are the epic staple of summer.

Lollapalooza has to be one of the most incredible festivals of the summer.  The killer line up should really say it all, but what tops it off is that it is set in the heart of Chicago.  Check out the lineup! The energy this festival brings is killer! For years and years the Europeans have been partying to the festivities of this festival and we’ve traveled the distance.  But now its in our backyard – Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia! We’ve never been to this festival…or even heard of it for that matter, but with worldwide talent like Pitbull and the forever forgotten 98 Degrees this could be the festival of the summer.  After all, it claims to be “The World’s Largest Music Festival” and we’re all ears! OH! MY! GOD! We love W&W.  When these cats drop the beat… they drop the shit out of it! Following the killer success of The Code comes the high energy, beat dropping, dance floor shaking and all night raging track Thunder.  “Thunder” has powerful cumulous claps, a silky melody and a pay-off that would shake the foundations of every club it meets – no exceptions.
