Who Will Win RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6?

Last week, we wrote a post predicting who we thought would win RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6.  But an interesting thing happened as soon as we published the post…we began to argue over who we thought would win Season 6! There is a true love from both of us when it comes to Bianca Del Rio, but then we’re split down the middle; Team Courtney Vs. Team Adore.  We can both agree on their amazing talent and their individual beauty, God Courtney is gorgeous, but Adore is gorgeous too…and a cute boy.  Well, Courtney is a cute boy too.  I guess it all comes down to taste, which is why one of us is a little more glamorous(Courtney) and the other is a little more rock n’ roll(Adore)! But what does that mean for the winner of this season.

We’re only hours away and quite frankly, we just don’t know.  Who do you think will win??? Let us know below and let’s see who’s right!

NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfront Red Carpet Faves!

On May 15the, the NBCUniversal network threw together a red-carpet event featuring current and future content from their multiple channels. 120 stars walked the red-carpet and 3,000 attendees were able to experience what the network has in store for us this year! Let’s just say we’re totally excited for the new shows and the new seasons of our fave shows!! The fab night ended with an after party, where attendees and stars a like celebrated the season to come!!! Check out some of our red-carpet faves!

RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Adore Delano Goes on Stage with Britney Spears!

You might be kind of a big deal if the Queen of pop herself, Britney Spears, has you on stage with her in Vegas show, but that’s exactly what happened to RuPaul’s Drag Race finalist, Adore Delano.  We’ve been a huge fan of Adore’s since way back when we watched her YouTube videos, after her American Idol stint, and instantly fell in love.  And apparently Britney is a fan too, because she had Adore as part of her show on Saturday night, having her come out on stage with a leash around her neck!

As it seems that Britney always has her finger on the pulse of the entertainment biz, could this possibly mean she knows something we don’t already know and that Adore could be the winner??? Who knows…we’ll have to wait til tomorrow to find out!

The Winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6!

Have you been watching all season??? It’s down to the final 3 and we’re not sure who we’d like to see win the most; Adore Delano, Courtney Act or Bianca Del Rio.  Quite frankly, we always expected Courtney to be in the finale, due to her refined beauty, unbelievable costumes and the fact that she’s, well, Courtney Act.  And even though we love Adore Delano, we didn’t quite think she’d make it to the end, but when we look back through the season, there really aren’t that many standout favorites and original talents, like in years past.  Except…for Bianca Del Rio.  Her unbelievable wit and non-stop humor have kept her in the races from the beginning.  She’s been one of our favorites from the start and we had never even heard of her before the show began!

So, here’s what we think.  Adore Delano is incredible and has had a following since her days on American Idol and YouTube and we love her in and out of drag, but she’s still a little bit green, in comparison to Bianca and Courtney, and we just don’t think RuPaul will give her the crown.

Which means it will come down to Courtney and Bianca.  If it comes down to them lip syncing, Courtney will win.  And maybe Courtney should win, but we’re wondering what RuPaul made of her comment about already being a big deal in Australia and then Santino commenting that basically, she was the Australian RuPaul.  It might just be enough for Ru to humble Courtney.  But besides look absolutely gorgeous and having amazing stage presence, she really hasn’t done much this season.  Sure, we’d love to take her out with us every weekend, but we could say the same thing about Adore.  And quite frankly, Bianca would probably be a better time.

If RuPaul gives the crown to the most deserving, we believe it should go to Bianca Del Rio.  We’ve seen lots of fishy queens that do not make supertalent.  And maybe Courtney goes above and beyond all that, but we just didn’t it this season.  We kind of hoped for more.

Eric: Charismatic

How will this season of Eric & Jessie: Game On be different from the first season?

Eric: Lots of baby preparation and our careers.

Jessie: We are having a baby so it focuses a lot on the preparation for that!

How has marriage changed your relationship?

Eric: Made us stronger and united us in our faith

Jessie: Its made us even closer and more on a  spiritual level

What is something you do for each other the other one doesn’t realize you do?

Eric: She calms me down when I’m frustrated or stressed in ways i don’t realize until after the fact.

Jessie: We are pretty aware of the sweet things we do for one another…he runs me baths, and gives me neck massages and makes me breakfast

How do you define sexy?

Eric: Her

Jessie: Him

What is the sexiest thing about your marriage?

Eric: Our passion for one another and I love that she is all mine.

Jessie: I can kiss him any time I want!

How do you want the world to remember Eric and Jessie?

Eric: Two young adults that love one another unconditionally and are chasing their dreams. Also, to give others hope that they can find love and live out their dreams too.

Jessie: A fun loving normal couple who wants to set an example for love and happiness.

Eric: Headed to the NY Jets, becoming a father and professional diaper changer.

Jessie: New adventure in NYC/NJ, becoming a mother to our sweet baby girl and continuing my love for music!

Eric: My Ray Ban aviators, massage, steak and potato dinner with a glass of red wine.

Jessie: My car, bubble baths, and a blue moon with an orange!

Lindsay Lohan! Our Fave Mean Girl Does Reality Television!

Lindsay Lohan is set to guest star on 2 BROKE GIRLS, Monday, April 14 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  She will play Claire Guinness, a soon-to-be-bride who asks Max and Caroline to make her wedding cake.  As Max and Caroline get to know her, it quickly becomes clear that Claire has trouble making decisions.

Not only is this babe working on taping this episode but she is also keeping busy promoting her new Docu-series premiering on the Own network this coming March 9th.  Love her and excited to see what trick she has up her sleeves!

RuPaul’s Drag Race Rewind…Season 6 Episode 2!

So folks, what did you think of tonight’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race? We’re not entirely sure we like that Ru has split the gals up this season, but we’re sure it’s just the first of many new things to come our way this season.  (Incidentally, we haven’t written a review for first week yet, so we’ll post that later in the week!)

Here’s how it went down…the second batch of 7 girls are: Bianca Del Rio(Hilarious!!!), Trinity K Bonet(Gorgeous…direct), Joslyn Fox(Hmmm…crafty), Magnolia Crawford(cute boy but bittter, bitter queen!), Milk(LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Courtney Act(Uhhhhh…wait!) and Darienne Lake(Big and Beautiful!)

Basically, the girls did a photoshoot…blah…where they had to get sexy with the pit crew, including having a pillow fight.  All of the pictures were pretty good, with the exception of Miss Magnolia’s, so this was boring! Trinity won but Courtney should have won.

Then they got these boxes of crap signifying events like “hoe down”(ha-ha), etc…and had to make a couture fashion gown.  All were ok, but Bianca’s was definitely the best designed, but that’s probably because she’s a “costume designer”. Magnolia got really lippy with the judges and even later admitted to the rest of the girls that she was just there for “exposure” and just wanted to people to notice her when she walked down the street, stating she didn’t care if she won or stayed.  Bianca, who’s humor will give RuPaul’s corny jokes a run for their money, promptly told her she’d help her pack her bags.

Ok, so anyway, she won and Magnolia and Darienne had to lip-sync.  Magnolia did not no ONE WORD of “Knock on Wood” and kinda just horsied around on stage looking ridiculous, so of course Darienne won! Way to go girl.

But let’s be honest, the true winner tonight was Courtney Act.  Even Joslyn Fox, that poor, sweet thing, told Courtney meeting her was just as significant as meeting the judges…(Michelle Visage???).  Courtney’s response…”Awkward”.  God…we love her. We’ve been such huge Adore Delano and Courtney Act fans for so long that we couldn’t wait to watch them together.  We could simply watch Courtney talk for hours! Gor-geous! But we think all of these queens have a pretty good chance in their own right.  Each seems to bring something different to the table which could make for a very interesting season.

Oh…and now that Magnolia is gone, our Hottest Boy Out of Drag Award goes to Milk!!!

An Open Letter to RuPaul, Big Ang, Tim Gunn, Reza, Abby Lee Miller…and a Whole Lot More!

For weeks we’ve been writing about marriage equality and political unrest in the world, and while all of that is extremely important to us, we’ve neglected to comment openly on our daily medicine.  We’re sure many of our readers, like ourselves, have daily crap filling their lives: drama with friends, running errands, taking the kids here and there, financial problems, medical problems, on and on and on.  While driving around today, running errands, thinking about all of the things that were stressing us out, we remembered;  tonight is the premiere of LOGO TV’s 6th Season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

We are huge Drag Race fan and have diligently watched every episode and every season…at least twice! We have interviewed almost every contestant and winner on raannt as well as having posted weekly commentary.  In the simplest of terms, we are obsessed! While driving and thinking about this, we conjured up a dream of cooking up a huge pot of chili, sitting back with the dogs and watching RuPaul’s Drag Race tonight.  Instantly, our stress disappeared and we were at ease.  All because of our dream of sitting in front of the television watching some incredible drag queens.  You see, life is really that simple.

We spend many nights on our couch or in our bed watching our favorite shows, indirectly interacting with our “reality friends”; Shahs of Sunset, Couples Therapy, Mob Wives, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, RuPauls Drag Race, Kim of Queens, Catfish, Dance Moms…on and on and on! We’re total freaks for the real! So we thought, why not write them a letter and let them know how much we appreciate them.  Stupid? Maybe…but real fans write fan letters…and we’re SUPERFANS! So here it is...

 

Dear RuPaul and your girls, Big Ang, Renee, Drita and the other Mob Wives, Reza, Mike, GG, Asa, MJ and Lilly of Shahs of Sunset, Abby Lee Miller, her girls and especially the MOM’s, who we love dearly, Kim of Queens(Adore her!), the Chicago folks of 100 Days of Summer(family love Jay!), the kids on American Idol, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, the judges and designers on Project Runway, Lisa Vanderpump and your gals and crew, Theresa the Long Island Medium and your family, the amazing fashionistas on Million Dollar Shopper, the kids on Houston Beauty and Ms. J, the Hollywood Hillbillies and the Angry Ginger, Nev and Max from Catfish, Kim and her crew from LA Hair, Tyra, Jeff from Survivor, every housemate from Big Brother EVER, the entire cast of #RichKids of Beverly Hills +E.J., every 5 guy and a girl…and of course, Honey Boo Boo…

You have relaxed our minds, initiated amazing dinner conversations, given us something to look forward to and supplied a daily dose of the most wonderful medicine into our stressed out minds! While many people may knock you for putting your lives out there and call what you’re doing trivial, we applaud you and thank you for allowing us into your lives so that we can forget ours for a few moments, laugh and continue with our days!

We work, exercise, read, write and continue to grow, but it just doesn’t seem enough until we turn on the tube and see one of your faces.  Your turmoil is our turmoil.  Your joy is our joy.  Your successes…well, we don’t own those, but sometimes it feels as if we do! And for all of that, we love you!

And we think we should be your best gay friends!

‘Resurrection’ New ABC Show

Resurrection is intriguingly creepy, while somewhat endearing, and will keep you on the edge of your seat screaming for more!  Imagine having loved ones come back after years of being dead?  The series is focused on the lives of the people of small town Arcadia Missouri and the sudden reappearance of long lost loved ones… Who would you want to come back knocking on your door?
