We’ve been gone for a little while, with just a post here and there! In all honesty, we got sidetracked while on vacation in Miami, but we’re back and strong as ever! Stay tuned throughout the next couple of days as we bring you some great interviews as well as all of our SEXY Lists!!!

We weren’t really sure what to think when we first heard Avicii‘s new hit The Nights.  Sure, it sounds like a lot of his new music but it is really mainstream.  Really, really mainstream.  But, maybe that’s the new Avicii we’re going to have to learn to love.  Needless to say, after watching the video a few times, we did in fact fall in love with this one too! Most of all, we love the message.  Check it out below!

Arielle Scarcella is one of our all-time favorite YouTubers. Every time we tune to her channel, Arielle is Hamming, we’re sure we’ll find some new hilarious way to look at the world, one in which we haven’t seen before. Honest, raw and just downright hilarious, we admire her for loving herself and boosting the self-esteem of her viewers. It also doesn’t hurt that she’s pretty damn sexy and a fan favorite of many of our friends. Even though we feel like we already know her by interacting with her on one side of the computer screen, we wanted to find out more about what inspires her to be so motivating and hilarious for others. Check out what she told us below!

What motivated you to begin making YouTube videos?

I had just gotten out of a horribly abusive first relationship and I turned to creativity and comedy to feel happy again.

What was the moment you knew you had made it big on YouTube and how long did it take to get there?

I think most people would say I’m big in the LGBT world. I noticed this was a real thing when I made an OK Cupid account and 95% of the messages were from viewers.

What are three opportunities you cherish which have come as a result of your videos?

Meeting amazing friends that are truly changing the world, helping hundreds of thousands of kids be themselves and traveling.

What is it like to have a huge LGBT following and fan base?

It’s easily the most difficult yet most satisfying type of audience to have. We are automatically expected to know more about equal rights, gender identities etc when so much of it is so new a lot of us make mistakes. They LGBT movement in general is still very new and we are very much the faces of it.

Who are your 5 favorite YouTubers to watch?

Davey Wavey, HartBeat, DashieXP, Community Channel, Vlog Brothers

What’s a topic too personal to discuss on YouTube? What embarrasses you to talk about?

I’ve talked about almost everything. One thing I don’t like discussing is falling back into old patterns of behavior that I thought I fixed.

What do you think are the 3 most profound YouTube videos ever made?

“I want to know what it’s like” By Ryan Yezak, “Where the hell is Matt” series and I’m not sure which other ones have impacted me as much as these two.

What are your 3 favorite videos you’ve made on YouTube?

What are five things we wouldn’t know by looking at you?

I used to play hockey as a kid. I’m actually quite the introvert. I’m a decent singer (Good enough for YouTube) I have self-esteem issues that I’m still working on. I’m only 5’1.

If you could only listen to 3 CD’s for the rest of your life and they couldn’t be mixed, what would they be?

Justin Timberlake’s 3 albums.

Have you ever received any fan mail or hate male which really changed your perspective on the impact you have through your videos?

The ones that impacted me the most were when they were given to me in person. It’s easy to forget how many people are actually watching until you see their faces.

Is there good money to be made on YouTube or through other associated opportunities?

For some, yes. For others it’s not always an easy task. Many companies still don’t feel comfortable associating with LGBT people or with “sexually explicit” content.

How do you define sexy? Who is the sexiest celebrity? Where is the sexiest place to kiss? Sexiest YouTuber? Sexiest song?

Sexy is confidence. I’ve always loved Rachael McAdams. Place on the body to kiss? The neck for sure. It’s sensual and sweet at the same time. Sexiest YouTuber, hmmm…Marie Forleo is so hot that it’s kinda terrifying. Sexist song is anything sung by Miranda Sings.

What book, movie and television show would you suggest to a stranger on a plane?

7 Spiritual Laws of Success, The Secret and hmm TV show Orange is the New Black.

Let’s play murder, marry, fuck: Iggy Azalea, Kendall Jenner and Laura Prepon(Alex from Orange is the New Black)?

Fuck Alex, Marry Iggy and kill Kendall.

What do you think is the most important LGBT issue today and what do you think should be done about it?

I’d like to say equal rights, but I’m not sure that’s the most important. What I’d really like to see is less hate crimes committed to LGBT people.

What 3 things would you like to have accomplished in the next 10 years?

Find the love of my life, travel more and buy my own home.

What are your feelings about penis envy, gay stereotypes and lesbian sex in straight porn?

Penis envy is a real thing. I’m not sure if it’s simply because of masculine dominance in society, or for an unknown reason. Gay stereotypes are OK. It’s not a bad thing to be a stereotype if that’s who you are. And lesbian sex in straight porn is ok too. It’s just important to have straight men realize that no woman owes them sex for whatever the reason they think.

What is too personal to talk about in a YouTube video?

Nothing really.

What are your three simple luxuries?

Iced tea, sitting by the water under my favorite bridge and picnics.

“The Fault in Our Stars for the LGBT Community”

As much as we may love summer… and we really love summer… we look forward to fall for a few reasons; Halloween, sweater weather, Starbucks fall theme drinks and a never ending lineup of TV shows. “The McCarthys” joins the CBS family this fall as its brand new( and only new )comedy this fall and we couldn’t be more excited. Tyler Ritter leads the cast as his character, Ronny McCarthy, finds himself in a particular situation filled with hilarious moments that we can’t wait for. Tyler took out some time from the McCarthy life to chat with us about the show, his character and the rest of the cast! ‘The McCarthys’ premiers Thursday October 30th at 9:30/8:30c.

Introduce us to your new show “The McCarthys”
“The McCarthys” is the new CBS comedy based loosely on the family of our show’s creator, Brian Gallivan. Set in Boston, The McCarthy family simply wants to spend each day together, under one roof, loving their sports games, and hating change. I have the privilege of playing 29 year old Ronny McCarthy, the youngest of four, who is desperately trying to break this routine and discover himself, or at least his first serious boyfriend. Having his mother as a best friend complicates things as you can imagine. He’s determined to break the news to his family members that there’s more to life (for him) than what’s under their roof. It’s clearly not gonna be pretty.
What should CBS fans expect from this new comedy?
Fans should expect to laugh!!! They’ll see a family struggling to communicate their feelings for each other, while never missing an opportunity to drop somebody down a notch. Mercilessly. Fast talkers but slow to pick up on perhaps more sensitive means of expression. Like most families, they sure aren’t perfect, but they’ve got all the right ingredients to cook up something fun and dynamic every week!

How are you and your character Ronny alike and different?
Ronny and I both grew up in a household full of characters. Never a dull moment, always cared for, and yet for whatever reason shouldering a desire to move away. Some glaring differences here. My family encouraged me to move to Argentina where I spent 3 years in my early twenties. Ronny’s family would shred his passport if he mentioned a road trip to New York, just in case he got any wise ideas. Both of our families encourage open communication, but you can probably guess which one counts feigning illness or bribing as a way to show one’s support. I’m a bigger fan of sports than Ronny, though he has to admit his family is pretty entertaining when a game is on. I taught at a Middle School while Ronny is a High School Guidance Counselor, we were both late bloomers in the love game, and at 29, we both are starting to ask the same questions about when our future familial additions will arrive

How would you define sexy?
Sexiness for me is that wonderful balance of confidence and humility. It’s something that we all constantly need to work on, always focusing on yourself first while not worrying about what other people think. We’ve all got some unique quality and we need to trust in whatever that is if we are going to channel anything remotely sexy. I mean, I grew up idolizing Prince and it wasn’t until my teen years that I realized I was never gonna bring that kind of sexy to the table. But that doesn’t mean I gave up! I had to find my own Purple Rain and just trust that it was somewhere in my essence (fyi it came to me in the form of “The Robot” dance move so you just never know).
What is the sexiest hotel? City? TV show? Former/Current co-star?
That Ice Hotel in Sweden? Never been myself, but man that thing is sexy. On the other hand, I don’t know how cool I’d feel in 10 layers of wool. A sexy city would be Buenos Aires as it is the very place where I used those aforementioned dance moves to first enchant my wife 7 years ago. TV show? The McCarthys, obviously. And the sexiest co-star…I’m going to take it one step further and say the most beautiful co-star would be Naomi Judd. Talk about embodying confidence and humility all at the same time! Great sense of humor, extreme intelligence, and she really looks you in the eyes. A true gift to work with her!

If you could write an episode for “The McCarthys” what would it be about and why?
Title: Ronny finds his Purple Rain. I would love to give a shoutout to my Argentine family by perhaps seducing a young gaucho with some tango moves? That already sounds a bit out there…see, this is why I leave these things to our amazing writers!
What has been your funniest moment while working on “The McCarthys” and why?
Ronny has to make two pretty tough basketball shots in the first episode and nobody thought I had a chance to really make them, including myself. Enough suspense, I made the shots on my first attempt to everyone’s surprise! Literally. We all kind of forgot what to do next. Fortunately, this was also true for our characters so on top of messing up, we got the perfect scene! You just gotta love it when that happens, which usually is never.
What are your three simple luxuries?
7th inning stretch, power naps, mate
