Glee’s Naya Rivera Isn’t Sorry But We Might Be

As huge Glee fans, we were super excited to hear of the release of Naya Rivera‘s premiere single Sorry and her upcoming album release.  But after listening to the song, in which she indicates she’s not sorry, the only thing we’re not sorry about is that she is now engaged to Big Sean, who is featured in the song.  Maybe this song will grow on us but for someone who has busted her chops singing incredibly the last few years on Glee, we were hoping for an Ariana Grande moment.  No such luck.  Although we don’t love the song, we’re still huge Naya fans and think she is one of the most gorgeous women to have ever graced television.  (We also loved her as a lesbian!) Is Avicii a Genius or a Sellout?

We are loving the killer beats Avicii has put out with his album TRUE! For those that are panning the album and giving it critical reviews, we think it has hit an all time high and raised the bar even for Avicii himself.  Already the album has huge hits with Wake Me Up and You Make Me and now with his newest hit single Dear Boy, Avicii’s taken it to another level.  But critics are saying Avicii has sold out and is too mainstream.  Is that true, or is EDM music just becoming more main stream in the US as it already has been in Europe and South America for years.  Yes folks, we don’t like to often admit it, but the US is typically behind the trends…especially musically.

So the real question to ask is whether Avicii is a genius at the forefront of transforming EDM music into mainstream music or is he a sellout, making more commercialized music which will appeal to the masses?

Let’s be honest, Avicii is the golden boy of EDM! We love Avicii’s new album and think it is definitely one of the best albums of 2013! And not just EDM albums! Check out our new favorite from Avicii’s TRUE Dear Boy below!

Preview of Lifetimes’ Witches of East End…Let the Magic Begin!

We couldn’t be more excited about the new Lifetime series Witches of East End! And we mean, really freaking excited!, especially after seeing the preview of the first episode.  The house of raannt is obsessed with all things scary, skeptical, and supernatural! And when combined with sexy people, hot fashion and some romantic intrigue…we’re all in!

Inspired by Melissa de la Cruz’s New York Times best-selling novel, the series centers on the mysterious and incredibly sexy Beauchamp family.  Joanna (Mother Witch) and her two daughters enter a world where things get complicated from every angle. Freya is in love with brothers (very Vampire Diaries) and her sister Ingrid pretty much is left to clean up a whole lot of messes.  Not to mention that Joannas long lost sister (but not really) comes back to help fix/clean/mess/sex things up.  Are you following?

Markus Schulz Takes Us on a Trance Journey to Buenos Aires ‘13…And Tour Dates!

Markus Schulz invites you to take a trip with him to Buenos Aires for a two-chapter guide through South America’s dance music capital.

Markus cites several instances where his connection with Buenos Aires has stood out above others.  He was specifically chosen to entertain the masses during the country’s Bicentennial celebrations and cites the relationship between himself and the local patrons as pivotal inspirations when in studio production mode. Buenos Aires is also a place full of gig highlights for Markus. Despite torrential weather, the Argentinean faithful remained in force to support Markus when the city hosted its own edition of the Ultra Music Festival in February. And the final seeds of his chosen city were sewn in June, in the immediate aftermath of two sellout performances at Mandarine nightclub, where he demonstrated his immense DJing art craft by playing for a total of almost 15 hours.

About a year ago, a friend of ours asked us what we thought about meggings – leggings for men – and what we thought was “NO!” So when ZARA, one of our faves, introduced legging style trousers for men, we were a little worried.

In true ZARA fashion the legging style trousers are killer. They totally fit this chic posh kind of hipster that’s too cool to actually be a hipster, if you can follow that description. Needless to say we love them… well, we love these.  The whole idea that men wearing leggings is scary, but ZARA brought us a killer option that we just died for! Two please!
