We are die-hard Mumford & Sons fans! Needless to say we were super excited to see the release of their newest video Hopeless Wanderer. Stylistically true to their nature, the video is pretty much what we expected. We love the song and their look, but we’d like to see a little more creativity. Oh Brother…where art thou??? We are such huge Joni Mitchell fans, having grown up with her music wafting though our windows and on the dancing feet of our mothers. Imagine how incredibly delighted we were to find this rare interview with Jian Ghomeshi from the CBC-Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Just sitting on the other side of our computer listening to her, we wished we in her comforting living room, smoking a cigarette with the queen of folk. Love ya Joni!

AXWELL ANNOUNCES FINAL ‘WHERE’S THE PARTY?’ COMPETITION

Swedish house music luminary Axel Hedfors – AKA Axwell – has today given fans
around the world a final chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Stockholm at
the end of August, for one lucky contestant and a friend to be part of his first
major live solo show since the Swedish House Mafia parted ways in March of this
year!
Also just announced as part of the countdown to the Where’s The Party by Carlsberg
event is a LIVE Twitter Chat this Thursday from 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm GMT / 7pm
CET with the man himself! Axwell will join fans for an hour long question and
answer session via Twitter – to take part fans simply need to log onto Twitter and
use the official hashtag #AXWELLCHAT in their questions.
On Saturday August 31st, Axwell’s long-standing partnership with Carlsberg will be
taking over the mammoth outdoor 9,000-capacity Swedish Maritime Museum in Axwell’s
home town of Stockholm, for Sweden’s biggest outdoor event this summer and for the
largest ever Where’s The Party? concept show to date!
Just announced to join Axwell for one of the biggest electronic events in Sweden’s
history will be fellow countrymen and Axtone label favourites NO_ID, who will be
bringing their unique brand of high-octane house music to the open-sided Marquee
set next to the Swedish Maritime Museum, by the river, on the 31st!

As Insomniac continues on the road to Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas, 2014 we are excited to announce travel packages and entertainment available for all to join us on the tropical island of Puerto Rico at EDC on September 13 and 14 at Parque Luis Muñoz in San Juan.
“I’m excited to continue the road to EDC Las Vegas, 2014 with a stop in beautiful Puerto Rico. We’ve expanded the festival to a two-day event to take advantage of the amazing venue at Parque Luis Muñoz Marín,” said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac. “The Puerto Rico installment of EDC offers such a unique and beautiful environment for festivalgoers. EDC, Puerto Rico creates something extremely unique for both local fans of dance music and also offers a one-of-a-kind destination for those in the States.”
Travel packages provide dance music enthusiasts with the chance to enjoy the festival in this truly unique setting while also creating the opportunity for them to explore the picturesque island of Puerto Rico. Packages include rooms with hotel partner, The Caribe Hilton, a luxury hotel set in 17 acres of exotic gardens. Before or after the music festival, EDC guests can unwind with friends in beachside hammocks or relive festival memories poolside or on the beach.

Insomniac will also highlight local DJ’s by giving more than 30 performers the chance to play across all four stages including a designated locals-only stage during both days of the festival.
Tickets and travel packages are now available for purchase. Two-day general admission passes are priced at $70 and two-day VIP tickets are $100 before service fees. VIP amenities include a separate VIP entrance to the festival for rapid entry, access to special decks overlooking the stage, a full cash bar and private restroom facilities, as well as two complimentary Coors Light beers and a souvenir laminate and lanyard.
Single day tickets will be available at a later date. General admission travel packages are $769 for a two-night stay and $999 for three nights. Fans looking for the ultimate VIP experience at the event can book a two or three night escape for $839 or $1079, respectively. EDC Puerto Rico is an 18 and older event.

The killer track Atmosphere by Kaskade has exclusively released three remixes of the already epic Atmosphere.
The remixes are by AMTRAK, Chocolate Puma and GTA. AMTRAK remix takes Kaskade’s warm and personal lead single and turns it into a proper, late-night house groove, complete with deep melodies and soulful rhythms. The Chocolate Puma remix premiered on the SiriusXM BPM channel on July 23.
