We’re kinda laughing our asses off right now as we read the horrific comments Paris Hilton has received for her new single Good Time, as well as the video.  One comments stated it sounded like it was “recorded in a basement with a ghetto blaster“.  Paris Hilton might not be the best singer in the world, or have the best rhythm, but she knows one thing…business.  She is the originator of branding your own name, so don’t think for one second that she isn’t smart when making this song.  Let’s look at a few things that make this song smart…and not bad.

1. She was smart enough to collaborate with Lil Wayne, one of the most prolific rappers of our time.  Of any time.

2. She’s combined the sound of EDM(Electronic Dance Music) into the score, something only a few, top of their game, pop stars are doing right now.

3. She looks super hot, obviously, throughout the entire video, which is a a fun video.

Yeah, sure, it’s not the greatest song in history, but it’s kind of a  fun time…or a Good Time, as she says.  It’s actually a really good going out song! Plus, just to hear Lil Wayne rap “She fucked me like she loved me” is enough!  Check it out below and let us know what you think.

As huge Glee fans, we were super excited to hear of the release of Naya Rivera‘s premiere single Sorry and her upcoming album release.  But after listening to the song, in which she indicates she’s not sorry, the only thing we’re not sorry about is that she is now engaged to Big Sean, who is featured in the song.  Maybe this song will grow on us but for someone who has busted her chops singing incredibly the last few years on Glee, we were hoping for an Ariana Grande moment.  No such luck.  Although we don’t love the song, we’re still huge Naya fans and think she is one of the most gorgeous women to have ever graced television.  (We also loved her as a lesbian!) The main reason why we love the Pet Shop Boys, other than their amazing sound and uncompromising lyrics, is that through the years, they have continued to stay true to the unbelievable sound we know only as the Pet Shop Boys.  Their vocals and beats are identifiable as soon as each song begins, and even dating back to the days of Domino Dancing, they are still true to the era of late night sensuality.  They are the feeling of the city alive in the early hours of the morning.  Their newest track Thursday, and video, from their new album Electric, is old school amazing mixed with the featured vocal beats of Example.  Check it out below!

The more and more we’ve listened to Ellie Goulding‘s newest song Burn, the more we like it.  But we have to be honest…it’s not our favorite of all of her hits.  We were actually surprised to find that after only a few weeks on the European Dance charts it’s moving at a quick rate up the chart!
