Last week we predicted that this summer will see a return to the 70’s love and groove we love so much.  Not only in music, but also in style, we believe we’ll see a return to those radical days of soul, individuality and political change.  Even musicians like Adele and Lana Del Rey have a 70’s vibe about them that makes us think maybe we’re in for a return for the finer, simpler things in life. Bruno Mar‘s newest hit Treasure, which he performed live this past week at the Billboard Music Awards, is a perfect example of this return to 1976! Justin Timberlake‘s newest single “Suit & Tie“, a preview to his upcoming album “The 20/20 Experience“, is a little bit, well…we’re not really sure.  When we first listened to it we were so put off by the beginning that we almost didn’t listen to the rest.  But as the song plays it’s obvious that Justin Timberlake continues to master his R&B sound, definitely reminiscent of old school R. Kelly and Step in the Name of Love! We’re sure it’ll grow on us more and more.  We can only hope…Check it out below and let us know what you think!

Tonight the X Factor premiered the newest video from the Queen herself…Britney Spears.  Although she is only featured in will.i.am’s newest single Scream and Shout, it is definitely Britney that makes the video amazing.  We’re not huge fans of this song…yet, but we’re sure in time, it will beat it’s way into our brains.  As die-hard Britney Spears‘ fans, we are super appreciative of her new, sophisticated and glamorous look, especially from a 30 year old mother of two boys.
