Several years ago, our friend Zach introduced us to the comedy of Betty Butterfield.  We became instantly obsessed.  The comedy is so raw and vulnerable that it is hard to believe that Betty isn’t a real person.  And maybe she is…For awhile, we were communicating with the guy behind the face, but he guards his humor and isn’t interested in any fame.  Out of respect, we’ve held off on posting Betty for awhile, but we can’t wait anymore! Months ago, we posted a list every Friday of those individuals, just normal folk, who we felt were compellingly affecting pop culture and society by their Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook accounts and profiles.  What we found was that some people would have a really strong presence on one social media site, but not all…unless they were actually a celebrity or famous presence.

That was…until we tiptoed upon Queen Hippie Bitch! She is gorgeous, hilarious, carefree, creative, stylish and stunning! Not to mention that she Tweets and photographs the most amazing little things that every time she does posts something she receives about 500 ReTweets and Likes.

Her Tumblr blog is a mixture of sensuality, humor, wit and regret…while remaining just insightful enough that she’s always one step ahead of all of the other bloggers.  She is, in a word, original.

If Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, James Dean, Giselle and Hunter Thompson had a love child…she would be the beautiful badass toddler!

Last Saturday, our new “insider source” just happened to hop into a little ole party at the Playboy Mansion, hobnobbing alongside the likes of Paris Hilton and Kelsey Grammer.  While Paris partied it up in VIP most of the night, next to her new young boyfriend, Kelsey Grammer supposedly had his new, 3 month old infant along for the party.  But, according to our source, they never once saw the child open her eyes or move and they wondered if the baby was real at all or possibly a publicity stunt.

Although our source couldn’t tell for sure that the baby was a doll, they did think it was interesting that at a party where Kelsey partied until way after midnight to the beats of Taio Cruz and Diddy!

Do you remember Chris Crocker’s infamous “Leave Britney Alone” video that began his worldwide fame years ago??? Well…we’re HUGE fans of Chris and when he Tweeted yesterday that famed RuPaul’s Drag Race star Mimi Imfurst had made a hilarious video, we had to see what it was all about! “Miss @MimiImfurst is giving me a rub for my $$$”, he posted, linking the video below…we were absolutely intrigued.  What followed was several rewinds of the funniest video we have seen posted on YouTube in 2012! Hat’s off to you Miss Mimi Imfurst…not only are you an incredible drag queen..but also a comedienne extraordinaire!

Shakira, 35, and her boyfriend, Barcelona soccer star Gerard Pique, 25, have announced today that they are expecting a baby. Directly from her Facebook page, she stated, “As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days.This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but I’m sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there! I’d like to thank Clear Channel and my fans for their constant love and understanding. Big kiss! And will see you very soon! Shakira”

Michelle Obama or Ann Romney for President??? Hmmmm…..Their speeches gave us lots to think about...

Last year we started a little game of Would You Rather on our website, but after offending the Kardashian Klan, we thought we might wrap up the game til a later date.  Well guess what??? That later date is here and we’re ready to play again.  Here’s our question for today!

Imagine that Barack and Mitt had NOTHING to do with the elections and were just simply “husbands” to their power wives.  They wouldn’t be giving speeches at conventions and they wouldn’t be discussing foreign affairs.  No…they would simply be husbands…maybe even househusbands who walk the dog and take care of the kids.  If that were the case WOULD YOU RATHER vote for Michelle Obama or Ann Romney for President???

We don’t have much to comment about last night’s epic speech by Ann Romney…yawn…but, we are wondering if Ann’s movement of throwing her hands up in the air was a subliminal message to her followers.  Is it possible that Ann was showing a true love of electronic dance music and symbolically praising Fedde Le Grand‘s Put Your Hands Up For Detroit as her campaign anthem? Maybe we’ll never know…but it’s a nice thought! By the way…love the dress!
