Last season we met the ladies –Scheana Marie, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney of the uber sexy show Vanderpump Rules and restaurant lounge SUR and talked to them about the show, the season, and each other. For the second season, it’s the guys turn. Check out what Model/singer Tom Sandoval and Jax Taylor tell us what to expect from the season, the girls, Lisa, and each other!
Tom Sandoval
1. Introduce yourself in 7 words or less.
Outgoing, caring, musician, spontaneous, intuitive, smooth, & avant garde.
2. How would your life be without Lisa’s rules?
Lisa’s Rules at SUR are the glue that holds everything together. Without her knowledge and firm commitment to creating an memorable atmosphere, things would be much more chaotic than they are at times with our diverse staff. Lisa’s rules bring style, elegance, and professionalism, that makes SUR a “Sexy Unique Restaurant” and THE place everyone wants to experience in Beverly Hills.
3. How do you define sexy?
By My “7 Sexy C’s” of course! Confident, Clever, Creative, Captivating, Comedic, Charismatic and Cool. There’s no better way describe Sexy!
4. What is your life like outside of filming?
My life while not filming “Vanderpump Rules” starts with a hot cup of coffee (or 2, lol) then guitar, gym, auditioning, recording music, Karaoke and a beer or 2, some press events, lovely LA traffic, and my life wouldn’t be complete without awesome trips back to my roots in St. Louis.
5. How will this season of Vanderpump Rules be different from the first season?
This year you will get to know the cast on a much more intimate level (inside and out), especially Kristen and me. You will experience our pain as we struggle to maintain our sanity while we confront serious issues, sometimes with explosive consequences…
6. What are your three simple luxuries?
Internet, good times/laughter with friends, & beer…it’s all about the simple things in life.
Jax Taylor
1 .Introduce yourself in 7 words or less.
Outgoing, forward, sociable, funny, motivated, driven, entrepreneur.
2. How would your life be without Lisa’s rules?
Lisa is like a mother to me. I test my boundaries with her. However, without Lisa, I probably would have moved back to Florida by now.
3. How do you define sexy?
My taste has changed a little bit. Being your own self is sexy. Someone who is outgoing, fun and not the “Hollywood” type.
4. What is your life like outside of filming?
Right now, I am busy creating two companies: one website and one app that should be live soon. I’m also going to the gym a lot and working at SUR.
5. How Will this season of Vanderpump Rules be different from the first season?
This season is completely different and definitely tops last season. Things happened that I cannot believe happened. Friendships, dynamics and priorities have changed. You’ll have to wait and see!
6. What are your three simple luxuries?
Protein powder, NHL network package and cheeseburgers.
