We’re devoted Gleeks just like everyone else, whether they admit it or not, but we’re ready for Darren Criss, now 26, to step out of high school and into the adult world where we can see him as a man.  His boyish charm and innocence is cute and all, but let him grow up! There’s not doubting his uber sexy, we just don’t like having to think of him as a high school student anymore.  Especially one that is sequestered to a choir stage! Let him be free!!! (That being said, if he remains of Glee, we’ll of course continue to watch because we’re addicted!)

DJ Borgeous is Driven By Energy! An Interview

Over the last few months major DJs from all over the world have been dropping killer beats by Borgeous. Best known for “Tsunami” and “Stampede”. Borgeous enters the EDM world with powerful tracks, dirty beats, and an incredible talent for producing big room addicting tracks.  We had the pleasure to interview the DJ, learn about his talent, and understand what fuels him creatively!  Meet Borgeous, if you don’t know him by know… you should!

1. Introduce us to Borgeous in 7 words or less.

Focused. Fun. Driven. Energy. Loyal. Motivated.

2. What is something about you we wouldn’t know by looking at you?

My mom is Jamaican I’m half white half black.

3. How were you introduced to the EDM industry? 

By friends of mine. They took me to a show and I fell in love with it instantly!

4. If you could work with any 3 DJ/Musician, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Kurt Cobain. Klaas. Lights (Lights Bokan).

5. What is your favorite thing about creating new music?

The process of that exactly. There is nothing more exciting than creating something from scratch and then seeing everyone at your shows sing along or dance to your music.

6. Walk us through your creative process, what are some of your rituals when you’re making new music?

Right now I’m currently in Malibu.  I rented a house here by the water to clear my mind and work on music. But usually, I just sit in my room  or hotel room and work on music.

7. How do you define sexy?

 Someone who is intelligent and confident  and not judgmental.

8. What is the sexiest city? Hotel? Club? Song? Current track?

Miami. The W. Mansion. If I lose myself.

9. What’s next for Borgeous?

Two new songs coming out after Invincible that I’m really excited about and just about this world tour.

10. What are your three simple luxuries?

No drama. Have fun. Live life!

Yes Man Watches…Sexiest Item of the Day!

“Have you ever thought about how you are using your time? Time is invaluable and everyone has the same 24 hours in a day, yet so few actually acknowledge how they spend their time!”

We are absolutely obsessed with these impressive, state of the art, creatively designed timepieces from Yes Man Watches! We were contacted by the developers over a month ago about their Kickstarter campaign and in that time, they have well surpassed their goal of $15,000.

At first glances, these watches may not seem much different than other watches, but it is in the finest details that these watches passionately transform.  First, we are incredibly delighted by their leather watch band concept in which they use notches, instead of holes, closely aligned in a row, enabling more sizing options, to get the perfect fit every time.

Our favorite thing about the Yes Man watches is the placement of their logo at the 5 mark. This is what they wrote about the importance of their logo placement:

“There is a reason our logo is placed at the 5 mark. Too many people feel restricted by tiresome 9-5 jobs. Life is full of constraints, but truly there isn’t anything holding you back but yourself. Start chasing your dreams and who knows where you’ll end up. Your potential is limitless; maybe you won’t need that 9-5 job anymore.”

We are extremely supportive of anyone who is chasing their dreams, which is also the concept behind the Yes Man watch! We love what these guys represent and what they are trying to do by changing our perspective of how to spend time via timepieces.  Although they’ve hit their goal, they still need tons of help in making their dream a reality.  Check out their Yes Man Watch site and watch their video which explains the notches and the position of the logo at the 5pm mark, plus truly shows the passion behind these watches!
