Unfortunately, we were unable to attend, so we didn’t get a chance to experience it first hand, but we here it was an absolutely amazing beginning to a week full of activities.
Thursday night was the Art Institute of Indianapolis First Annual Fashion Show. Friday is the Midwest Fashion Week Trunk Show from 10am to 6pm at the Art’s Garden. The event will display work from local designers and retailers and admission is $10. Saturday night is the main event with the Spectrum of Fashion Runway Show. When I spoke to Berny Martin, creator of Midwest Fashion Week and design house of CatouWear, he was extremely excited about showcasing local fashion and design talent specific to the Midwest and showing that yes, there is an extreme amount of foundation available here for fashion, style and trend!
