We’re a little obsessed with cologne. Although we have a variety of choices at home, we each seem to stick to some of the same old favorites, each having our own signature cologne: Bond #9, Michael Kors Burberry, Prada, etc…Quite frankly, it takes a really strong scent, flowing with the aura and mixture of sexiness, confidence and masculinity, to win us over. And not since smelling Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille had we smelled such a scent.
Until we walked into Saks, casually attempting to pick up our wedding scent for an anniversary, Prada Amber for Men, when we were introduces to Creed by the Creed specialist. (Since we don’t remember her name, even though she sent us a nice card in the mail and called us, we want to give a shout out to the amazing Creed specialist at Saks Fifth Avenue in Indianapolis/Fashion Mall!) Anyway, we’re given samples for review all of the time, so we didn’t think much of it when she explained to us the scent ingredients, etc, and put together a few small sample bottles of Aventus and Royal Oud.
We didn’t think much of it, until two days later when we dabbed some of it on before running out to our office. All day we kept smelling this amazing scent and wondered where it came from, even going so far as to ask people around us what cologne they were wearing. Later that night, while pulling off our clothes and getting into the shower, we once again smelled it…the smell of perfection; Creed Royal-Oud, and we realized it was the cologne we had been wearing all day.
We’re equally obsessed with both of these scents: Creed Royal Oud and Aventus! We’re seriously thinking about making them our new signature scents and the scents of raannt!
