Spring Awakening Music Festival drops the daily artist lineup… Weekend planning made easier!!
Check out the daily breakdown below to find out which day your favorite artists are playing! Next week, additional artists will be added to the lineup with the “Class of 2018” and “STFU: A Silent Disco.” This year, SAMF is proud to renew a focus on the beacon of talent that lies right here in Chicago with the addition the city’s prolific homegrown artists.
Raise your hands if you can’t wait?!?! Ugh, I love festival season. See you guys there!
When it comes to putting on a good show, Steve Aoki does it well. He rocks the stage, interacts with the crowd, tries to connect with every person in the room and throws cakes! For those that complain abut the fact that he “just pushes a button and walks around stage” here what I say to you… He’s more than just a DJ, he’s an entertainer, he puts on a show that goes beyond the smooth transitions between tracks and live music playing.
The Kolony tour features classics ‘No Beef’, ‘Turbulance’, ‘Boneless’, ‘Mayhem’, and more, while also featuring he’s newest tracks like ‘AZUKITA’ and remixes of ‘Mi Gente’, ‘My Heart Will Go On’ (The Titanic Song) and more. Click through the pix below for the Steve Aoki KOLONY tour raannt experience.
Ok… I literally just saw Above & Beyond in Indy last night and this announcement gets me so excited for Miami Music Week next month. They put such. a. good. show! For the Miami show, the guys will be bringing along friends that can rock the house just as hard as they do.
So on Ultra eve, Thursday March 22nd, Above & Beyon will be taking over the RC Cola Plant with Seven Lions, Jody Wisternoff b2b Luttrell, ALPHA 9 b2b Spencer Brown, and Gabriel & Dresden.
Miami Music Week and Ultra are just a few weeks away and you have got to add this night to your schedule. They’re literally amazing (as you may already know – but if you haven’t seen them, GO!).
It’s incredibly amazing seeing a generation of rave goers take over a crowed that partly was made up of kids that weren’t even born when Above & Beyond first got together. This 90’s rave vibe was everything! Reminded me of the days when ‘göt 2b glued’ and tight tank-tops were part of the raver started kit. Over the years, Above & Beyond has continued to put together incredible performances, emotionally charged songs, and captivating world tours. I’m glad I was able to witness their magic, their power of being a group and sticking together for so long, for penetrating my soul with their music, for every goosebump and for all the FEELS had with every light flicker, laser flashed, bass dropped, and lyric sang. The ‘Common Ground’ tour starts with the warmest of hello’s and it ends with an incredible, not really but you’ll get the point, ‘see you later’.
There’s still dates on their tour, so if you haven’t seen them, get your tickets! If you’ve seen them and need to hop back in time to your good’ol days of raving, get your tickets! If you’re just looking for a good time, get your tickets! Above & Beyond does not disappoint!!! Check out or pictures below.

OH YES! OH YES MIAMI!!!! Who is ready to celebrate Ultra’s 20th Anniversary?!?!?! The announcement for the Miami Resistance lineup filled ups with pure joy and electro darkness. Specially, as the legend that is Carl Cox, leads the Arcadia phenomenon.
They’re at it again… Alex & Drew just dropped their new single ‘You Owe Me’. The upbeat ballad makes for the perfect muslin for the upcoming festival season anthems. I can already feel the mixed live version thumps bursting through my body while dancing at Ultra Music Festival Miami… I can already feel it! The fun duo also dropped the official video today. Now, this is going to sow how much TV I watch, but did anyone watch Beverly Hills 90210? The remake series? The house they use is the same house Naomi Clark lived in! SUCH a SEXY house. Aside from the useless location information, lol, the cinematography of the video is pretty stellar. Alex & Drew did an amazing job creating a new track for us to fall in love with and a video to match it!
Number 2!!! They highly anticipated Don Diablo album drops with an impressive list of collaborative tracks and true to character beats.
Don Diablo has created a world known personality and vibe with his infamous snapchats, fan interactive meet & greets, and crazy fun shows. Check out the full tracklist below and give it a nice download and listen.
Speaking about the album as a whole Don said “These last few years have been quite a journey for me on all levels. I had to fight many demons on a personal level and rediscovered myself as an artist in the process. I never thought I would end up where I am today, but on my journey I have learned and experienced many things that I have (subconsciously) used while working on this album. FUTURE features sixteen tracks that all have their own story, both musically as well as lyrically. I wanted this to be a motivational record that sonically showcases new ideas on a productional level, ranging from Future House to Future Pop and everything in between. I feel blessed to have worked with some of the most incredible new voices out there like James Newman, Nina Nesbitt, Betty Who, Calum Scott and many others. To me THEY represent the FUTURE and their talent is a very important part of this album. Besides this I also provided my own vocals to three of the songs on FUTURE, which definitely makes this album one of the most personal things I have done in a long time. After releasing many singles and remixes these last few years it feels amazing to finally be able to present a real body of work to my fans (and hopefully FUTURE fans) again. Having said that…I am as inspired as I have ever been so the next album will definitely not take another six to ten years”
