Pitbull’s Timber Ft. Ke$ha is NOT What We Expected!

You might be surprised to find that we are actually really huge Pitbull AND Ke$ha fans, so we were super excited to hear they had teamed up for Pitbull’s newest hit Timber.  We weren’t really sure what to expect and the song hadn’t been getting great reviews so we thought it would probably be cheesy.  Uhhhh….we love it! The mix of dance and country, which is the same sound Avicii is combining into his EDM music is the same thing we hear, but with Pitbull’s special flavor and Ke$ha’s special voice.  Yes…we love it! Two thumbs up!

James Blunt’s Bonfire Heart Official Video is Our New Favorite Fall Song!

We were already diehard James Blunt fans when we saw the release of his newest official video for his hit single Bonfire Heart…and we fell in love even more.  The video is the bubbly lovechild twin of Lana Del Rey‘s desperate Ride video…another one of our favorites! James Blunt just keeps getting better and better with every turn! Check it out and see if you don’t agree that it’s the perfect song for fall!

Vitaa featuring Maître Gims! #1 on France TV Airplay Music!

We don’t even know what to say…because we don’t speak French…but we’re learning! We love the new hit single Game Over from Vitaa Ft. Maitre Gims, which has just landed in the #1 spot on the French Air Charts! The official video isn’t out yet, but we’re including a teaser below, plus the lyric video! Check both of them out and you’ll know why we love this song so much!

Icona Pop’s All Night Echoes 90’s Paris Is Burning!

Ok, first of all, we can’t really give this video a fair review because we are huge fans of the ballroom scene brought to notoriety by the 90’s documentary Paris is Burning! If you haven’t seen this film, find it on Netflix today!

Anyway, the extended video of Icona Pop’s hit All Night feels a little bit like Macklemore‘s video for Same Love, encouraging gay culture and supporting gay rights.  (Yes…we know the ball scene isn’t just a gay thing, but come on!) Whatever…we love it and think the video for All Night is truly original and vibrant.
