To many people, the date they get married is very, very important to them. Vegas had a rush of weddings on 7-7-07. There are tragic holidays, such as 9-11, that very few people will probably ever use again for weddings. But what about Friday the 13th? Would you get married on Friday the 13th?

We love horror movies. We might even go as far as saying we’re obsessed with horror films. Some of our favorites are The Collector, The Stangers and all of the Halloween films. Being that it is Friday the 13th, we thought it was only fitting to track the history of the look of one of the horror genres most famous killers…Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th. Although it doesn’t lend much to the style genre, where would deconstruction or punk fashion be without ripped jeans and flannels from running through the woods, chased by a serial killer?
There were a total of 10 Jasons…Ari Lehman, Warrington Gillette, Steve Daskewisz, Richard Brooker, Ted White, Tom Morga, C.J. Graham, Kane Hodder, Ken Kirzinger and Derek Mears.
Here is a picture at a Jason Voorhees Reunion in 2009. The boy, who played Jason in Friday the 13th(2009 film) is Caleb Guss. The other actors, from left to right, are: Derek Mears, C.J, Graham, Warrington Gillette, Dick Wieand(who played Roy Burns who goes on a killing spree dressed as Jason Vorhees) and Derek Mears.
So what happened to the other Jasons?

Justin Bieber was done the second these five guys stepped on the stage. Probably not(since he has obsessive fans that will become the likes of Elvis’ 40 year old groupies)…although we’re having a difficult time imagining dear old Justin, who should be singing “If You Were My Boyfriend” instead of “If I Was Your Boyfriend”, transitioning into the likes of reputable actor Justin Timberlake or Mark Wahlberg. It might be time for Justin to pay another groupie to have sex with him, actually get her pregnant this time and settle down.
Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis. Don’t worry folks…if you have crushes, no matter what age you are or how inappropriate it may seem, all of the boys are over 18…so crush away! (We’re Niall and Zayn fans…for their style of course.) Often referred to as the new British Invasian(are we seriously comparing them to The Beatles), one thing is certain, teens around the world are losing their minds over these boys. Twitter, Facebook and especially Tumblr is filled with images and gifs of these boys in various poses, caught off guard and even a few in, what would seem, compromising positions.
The band, formed for the British television show The X Factor, actually can sing. We loved their breakout song “What Makes You Beautiful” even before we realized it was actually a boy band and not remnant members of a thrash band singing it. We just didn’t realize they were singing it to us!
And maybe that’s what we all secretly love about boy bands, whether we like to admit it or not. They’re cute, they’re fun and they are reminiscent of good times. If you’re a teenager, it might be the song you sing to with your girlfriends in the car late on Friday nights this summer or hear in the background as you kiss your first boyfriend. Or maybe you’re a gay teenager who hears this song and feels ok with yourself for the very first time…ever. If you’re older, it might remind us of those days before the world got real and bills, taxes and troubles lurked around the corner. Boy bands are our youth…no matter who you are.
We wouldn’t have been caught dead listening to boy bands, much less admitting our love of some of their songs, favoring The Smiths and The Cure. But truth be told, many summer nights were spent dancing with girlfriends to LFO’s Summer Girls. So settle down. Its almost summer. The reality is we all love boy band music because we it doesn’t make us think too hard.
So enjoy being younger, whether you’re 15 or 50, and get beautiful! You only live once!

Who’s That Girl??? How does one even begin to compare and contrast Madonna’s looks through the years. She has changed so many times and so often, who could possibly keep up. No one! That’s exactly why she’s always been at the top of her game! To us, the memories of her looks are more like a teenager’s wall collage of their favorite magazine clippings…We even included a little honorary subliminal message nodding to the question Madonna has been posing to her fans for years!

Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, Bruce, Lamar and Mason!Oh My! Do you love them or do you hate them. Today, people either seem incredibly praising of the Kardashian clan…or incredibly critical, especially of Kim. Our Twitter feed is filled daily about the Kardashians, mostly by the Kardashians themselves, but also by others making fun of the family. Jokes about Kim Kardashian’s marriage flood the headlines and get reTweeted constantly. “The only thing shorter than Kim Kardashian’s marriage is KONY 2012” Although that may be true, enough is enough. They’re human beings after all and bullying is bullying. Many might point out that they put themselves in the public eye so they deserve what they get. Really? Really?
The reality is…people are jealous. These bitches look incredible…all of the time! They have incredible lives and travel to incredible places. And although they may seem superficial with their love of fashion, extravagance, etc…below the surface, they remind us of any other family. No one is that deep all of the time!
Their mother Kris has turned a sex tape scandal and sisterly love into a hundred million dollar industry…all by just being themselves, living their lives and allowing us into their living rooms, literally. Could you do it? Because, it is a job…a career…a life. We love these bitches! LOVE THEM! And we think the world has been extremely unkind to them without walking around in their heels.

Andrej walked in Gaultier’s men’s and women’s fashion shows in January 2011. He again walked in both shows for MICHALSKY in July of 2011…and we have loved him ever since. Loved is even putting it mildly. Obsessed. Adoring. Blushing.
Andrej Pejic, who won the Beyond Style award earlier in the week at LOGO TV’s New Now Next Awards, is a 20 year old, Australian androgynous male model who defies boundaries and is a pioneer in today’s fashion frontier. While to many, his androgyny is new and confusing, to others it is a renaissance of previous ideas of Marlene Dietrich and Calvin Klein…pumped up to the volume of fashion frenzy.

Too controversial for most US conservative minds, in May of 2011, bookstores Borders and Barnes and Noble, covered his cover of Dossier Journal with a sleeve so shoppers wouldn’t be offended if confused and mistake the picture for a topless women. Hey folks…Borders is gone…Andrej is still here!
Andrej was born in Bosnia, fled with his mother to Serbia to live in a refugee camp and moved to Melbourne as political refugees when he was 8 years old. Today he finds himself walking runways and hyping up controversy in bookstores on the verge of their demise. Not bad for 20 years old. Needless to say, we feel Andrej is here to stay and has a lot more to do. After all, let’s not forget the powerful scene in The Devil Wears Prada in which Miranda Priestly explains to Andy what the color blue represents, not only to the fashion world, but the world at large.

We are in love with Azealia Banks; the girl who’s asking “I guess that cunt getting eaten”. The song plays nonstop in our house while we bop around imagining her sitting on our couch, smirking while rapping her genius raps. But where the hell did she come from?
Well…Azaelia…previously known as Miss Bank$, grew up in Harlem, New York with her mother and two sisters. Although she never graduated high school, she attended the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and has an extensive history of musical theatre. Makes one pause and wonder…where the hell did this little girl get that big mouth of hers? Who knows…but we love her for it.
Oh, by the way…did we mention she has publicaly acknowledged her bisexuality AND she’s performing at Coachella!!! Now who’s cunt getting eaten?

Needless to say, sometimes you have to admit when other people do something better than you can ever dream of doing.
