Indy 500 Snake Pit 2020 Lineup

All this is missing is a bow!! Thank you Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the amazing holiday gift… the 2020 Indy 500 Snake Pit lineup! While race fans from all around the globe watch and cheer for their favorite drivers, electronic music fans will be experiencing a race of their own… One between the roaring sounds of the engines competing against the thumping sounds of the Snake Pit stage… the winner? Who will uproar the loudest.

The Indianapolis 500 race will provide its’ distinctive roar from its 33 race teams, while the Snake Pits’ punch will come from 5 electronic music acts! Yellow Claw, Steve Aoki, Rezz, and Galantis will hit the decks starting at 7am leading to a closing set by Martin Garrix.

General admission and VIP tickets for the Snake Pit are on sale for $30 and $125 at ims.com. VIP amenities will include access to a raised viewing platform located beside the stage, a private cash bar and private air-conditioned restrooms. All Snake Pit ticketholders must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indy 500 general admission or reserved seat ticket. Ticket holders should be prepared to show proper identification to enter the concert. Packages that include Race Day general admission tickets are available. A package featuring general admission to the Indianapolis 500 and Snake Pit is $65, while a race general admission and Snake Pit VIP package is $160.

Indy 500 2019 Snake Pit by Coors Light

And just like that, summer officially starts in the circle city. The Indianapolis 500 kicks off a series of events that define the summer season in Hoosier-ville. The heat, the sun, the constant wonder if it will actually rain, and of course, the unavoidable farmers tan lines – caused by the constant uncertainty of really not knowing it will rain or not!

The 2019 edition of the infamous Snake Pit couldn’t ask for better weather. The morning overcast cleared around the time the green flag was waved and the sky provided enough clouds to not overheat the hearts that thump throughout turn 3 of the Indianapolis Motor Speed Way. The Snake Pit class of 2019 was initiated by Ricky Retro, followed by electro-deep house DJ Chris Lake (personal favorite), next Illenium dropped his classic uplifting beats before the Pre-race traditions and green flag allowed the Indy 500 drivers take over the track.

The music resumed with Alesso taking over the decks. He’s hour and a half set fueled up the energy and brought back to life the rookies that were a little too drunk by the end of Chris Lakes’ set – we’ve all been there. Skillex took over as race day came close to it end. He’s music kept up with the roaring of the cars as they approached their finals turns and the energy throughout the track cheered the victory of Simon Pagenaud. Our Snake Pit will always deliver an incredible time, generate memories that will leave forever; specially the ones that some might forget. Wether the 2019 edition kicked started your summer festivities or provided you with major FOMO, rest assure that better planning (on your part) for the 2020 Indianapolis 500 Snake Pit is undeniable. The Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light announces the return of Skrillex to its legendary decs. Along side him, Alesso, Illenium and Chris Lake will be making their debut to the snake pit stage in the infield of Turn 3.

Haunted Fest 2018 | Indianapolis

It’s crazy to think that this would be my 3rd Haunted Fest!! I’m excited the Indy edition is coming back, October 26th, and I can’t wait for the lineup to be announced.

Prime Social Group is proud to announce that its signature Haunted Fest will return to Indianapolis, IN, bringing back its world-class production and talent to the Pavilion at Pan Am. The festival is set to take place Oct. 26, 2018.

Riding off of the success of highly-hyped 2017 headlining performances of EDM powerhouse Yellow Claw, Electronic duo Cash Cash, and Brick Squad mastermind Waka Flocka Flame, the festival has become a Halloween-staple event in Indianapolis.

Haunted Fest debuted in 2014 in Columbus, OH and after years of success, expanded to Indianapolis in 2017 at the Pavilion. Haunted Fest is also set to return to Columbus, OH on Oct. 26.

Early bird tickets will go on sale Friday, July 27 at NOON EST in limited quantities. Stay tuned for the lineup announce!

Indy 500 Snake Pit 2018 | 10 Things You Need To Know a 1st Timer Guide

The Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light will once again be Race Weekend’s biggest party, with heavy-hitting djs Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Deadmau5, Diplo and GRiZ headlining the Sunday, May 27 Race Day concert.

The Indy 500 Snake Pit is not your average concert, show, music festival. It’s a one of kind monster. Every year the vibe roars through the IMS, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, grounds while race fans stroll in from their camping grounds. Many, straight to the snake pit, and some, actually watch the race. Whether you’re a Snake Pit pro or an excited virgin, here are the top 10 things we believe you should know:

Have a plan. It starts early, the IMS grounds are massive, the cell reception sucks, and if you’re over 21, there’s a lot of drinking. So have a plan. Know where to meet, where to go, what time you will get there and what time you guys will leave. Drop a pin in your map for where your car is, we’ve gotten lost before and it’s no fun. **Pro tip: have a designated driver, someone responsible and someone that will not drink. NO DRINKING AND DRIVING PEOPLE! **Super pro tip: Park between 30th and 34th on Georgetown Rd. It’s close enough to walk but far enough for traffic not to kill your brain.
Get some rest. The party starts early. Some are known to head in at 4am, others stroll in at 11-12. But one thing is for sure, like for sure for sure, get plenty of sleep/rest. The sun is usually major, and even in the not-so-warm years, the party marathon takes it out of you. There’s a lot of walking, dancing, and then walking back. You don’t want to be the guy that passes out during the funnest spring weekend in Indy!!
Charge your phone And/or bring a portable charger. The Snake Pit is an instagramer’s dream. Photo-ops are everywhere, with friends, stage, artists, people watching, all types! Don’t forget to tag @raannt317 @indy500snakepit & @reachpresents to show us what an amazing time you had! Also #Indy500SnakePit We’ll for sure like your pix.
Pack lite. You’ll want to bring some of your own food, snacks, water, drinks. Which is very smart. If you’re going solo, pack lite. if you’re going with friends. Split up the load. It’s a packed house and you don’t want to be stuck carrying a heavy bag or cooler.
SQUAD GOALS. Theme up the day with your squad. Coordinate, don’t really match tho – that would be too much, gear and colors. Press, like us, like to catch groups of people that stand out, show off the fun that is the Snake Pit and the amazingness that fans bring.

If you can VIP it. Sure, the $ may be higher, but it’s worth it. No restroom lines, or at least very minimal. Private bar, which hi! cuts on waiting to get drinks and getting back to enjoying the show. Elevated viewing decks. Two decks, both higher than GA, providing you with amazing views of the entire Snake Pit area and stage. And, very important, there’s way more room to dance.

Be kind. Don’t be an ass. Remember to use the word ‘Excuse me’ if you’re walking through the crowd, or even if someone bumps you, it’ll be a tight squeeze. Also, don’t push while walking through the crowd, nobody likes an entitled prick pushing through.
Be helpful. If you see someone having a hard time, or needing help finding their friends, or if their phones died (cuz they didn’t read this amazing list), give them a hand. Good Karma is always welcomed, so put positivity out in the universe. Plus it’s sexy.
Be smart. Stay hydrated. Have some food. Make good decisions. Follow your plan (Hi! Number 1 on this list) and have a backup plan. We’re all adults here.
Enjoy the Music. React Presents does an incredible job at bringing us bomb, huge, artists for us to rage to. So enjoy them. Remember that music is an incredible thing. The only way you can see it’s energy is by creating memories that will last you a lifetime. Or if you drink a little too much, they’ll be in your phone (as long as you charge it).

Above & Beyond the ‘Common Ground’ Tour Experience

Above & Beyond 'Common Ground' North American Tour Indianapolis Indiana

It’s incredibly amazing seeing a generation of rave goers take over a crowed that partly was made up of kids that weren’t even born when Above & Beyond first got together. This 90’s rave vibe was everything! Reminded me of the days when ‘göt 2b glued’ and tight tank-tops were part of the raver started kit. Over the years, Above & Beyond has continued to put together incredible performances, emotionally charged songs, and captivating world tours. I’m glad I was able to witness their magic, their power of being a group and sticking together for so long, for penetrating my soul with their music, for every goosebump and for all the FEELS had with every light flicker, laser flashed, bass dropped, and lyric sang. The ‘Common Ground’ tour starts with the warmest of hello’s and it ends with an incredible, not really but you’ll get the point, ‘see you later’.

There’s still dates on their tour, so if you haven’t seen them, get your tickets! If you’ve seen them and need to hop back in time to your good’ol days of raving, get your tickets!
