Over the weekend we had the pleasure to chat with Matt Jalbert (Guitar) Charlie Dolan (Bass) Alric “A.C.” Carter (Keyboards/Organ) Isaac Teel (Drums) from TAUK. Before landing the interview, we didn’t know who they were or what kind of music they played. As a matter of fact, we thought it was a one person DJ act. That’s usually what is pitched to us, but after some research, listening to their music, and watching their videos, we were excited to get to know the minds behind the band. First we wanted to know what their name meant, how to pronounce it, and how they came to be.
We talked about their new album, Sir Nebula, and their newest music video for “Horizons” – which seriously, it’s pretty trippy! So fun to see their music translated into something unexpected! We also talked about their upcoming tour and how they collaborate with each other. Check out our chat bellow:

Just a little over 6 hours ago, the Russian band Pussy Riot released the official video for the first ever English song I Can’t Breathe, and already it’s trending on social media. So why is this song so important? The statement under the video states: “Pussy Riot’s first song in English is dedicated to Eric Garner and the words he repeated eleven times before his death. This song is for Eric and for all those from Russia to America and around the globe who suffer from state terror – killed, choked, perished because of war and state sponsored violence of all kinds – for political prisoners and those on the streets fighting for change. We stand in solidarity.
Pussy Riot’s Masha and Nadya are being buried alive in the Russian riot police uniforms that are worn during the violent clashes of police and the protesters fighting for change in Russia. A pack of “Russian Spring” brand cigarettes is on the ground at the beginning. “Russian Spring” is a term used by those who are in love with Russia’s aggressive militant actions in Ukraine, and the cigarettes are a real thing.”

Honestly, we hadn’t heard of Ella Henderson before someone suggested her to us. We quickly looked her up to find that she’s quite a sensation in Great Britain and after watching her video for Glow, we totally understand why. We fell in love in with her instantly. And not just Glow but all of her work. She’s absolutely amazing and definitely the next big thing! Check out the official video for Glow below!

Lana Del Rey’s newest hit single Ultraviolence hasn’t even been out for 24 hours and it’s already being panned for “glorifying domestic violence”. Really? Let’s think about what we know about Lana Del Rey and then about musical suicide. Why would anyone in their right mind support or glorify domestic violence. She doesn’t glorify domestic abuse…she tells the truth. There’s a huge difference. Lana is truth. Only an idiot, or someone looking to get noticed for their review, would write such ridiculousness. The song is beautiful and amazing and we can’t wait for the video. Check it out below!

There is something familiar yet tragically humorous about Adore Delano‘s official video for her single DTF. It’s part Larry Clarke Wassup Rockers and part Lana Del Rey(insert any video). A little bit David Lynch maybe and definitely a lot of Jeffree Star rawness. But before we analyze the hell out of this simple song, what is obvious is that Adore is a character and this is shown so fully in the video, which by the way, we absolutely love and…adore?! It even vaguely reminded us of that movie Freeway with Reece Witherspoon! We love you Adore and think that this video shows you really are a superstar!
