A little over a year ago, to the tune of scandalous thunder, we posted our social clout list. We explained that if Indianapolis was a play, these were the characters who played vital roles in the social scene of Indianapolis. Well, a lot has changed and several people have moved. New roles have been appointed and new roles have been developed. Indianapolis is no longer at the playhouse. We’ve hit the Silver Screen and now, much like a blockbuster hit, the people who fill this ensemble cast are bringing Indianapolis to the next level!

Here boyfriend of six months, Kris Humphries, proposed with this amazing ring valued at $2 Million and of course, she said yes! Congrats Kimmie. We hope you’re enjoying engagement bliss…as are we! Today Oprah Winfrey will bow farewell for her final time…maybe! And in doing so what she will be remembered for most, next to her constant changes in weight or her Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in The Color Purple, are her Favorite Things shows. In honor of Oprah, who we adore and respect partly because she continues to work endless hours and dispense wisdom while sporting a pair of hard earned Louboutins, we decided we would display a few of our favorite Oprah moments. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. And as we shed a few tears today as she closes her show, it is with fondness that we are reminded that behind all of the glamour the glitz, the Louboutins and the awards…Oprah is the definition of The American Dream! We’ll miss you girl!

So we were sitting here tonight and thought maybe it would be appropriate, just in case these predictions are true, to say our goodbyes, our love ya’s and hopefully we’ll see you on the other side…
We were also asking each other what we would do if tomorrow is actually THE END…or let’s just say for all practical purposes that this is the last weekend…What would we do? What would we eat? What things would be important for us to do one last time???
ALEX – “Spend it with my friends and family and people that I care about. I’d just enjoy it the same way I would if tomorrow were tomorrow like any other day. I wouldn’t change anything. I wouldn’t do anything different. I think that every day I live is unique and one of a kind anyway.”
PETER – “Not me. I’d take out a bunch of money and play the high stakes slots at the casino. I’d have sex…several times. I’d have continuous movies playing in the background…To Kill a Mockingbird, Smoky Mountain Christmas, Basic Instinct, Out of Africa…My Dog Skip. I’d buy a few things I never allow myself to buy. As a person in recovery, I always thought I might use one day if I knew it were the end. But I wouldn’t. I have no need or desire to drink or use drugs anymore. Maybe that’s the explanation for the sex, the gambling, the shopping…and the FOOD! I’d have Chinese buffet, warm Krispy Kreme donuts, mac and cheese, cheap Totino’s pizzas, lemonade and lots and lots of stuffing. And then I’d sneak over to my best friend Tonya’s house, sit on her patio and smoke cigarettes and laugh a few more times before heading home and spending the last few hours with Alex and the dogs…yep. That’s it!”

It’s OFFICIAL!!!! Our wedding plans are booked and at 6:30pm August 25th…our dear friend Brittany Mason, supermodel and former Miss Indiana USA 2008, will be marrying us at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas!!

But….Brittany will be in town for 500 Weekend and we’ll be escorting her to The FANtasy 500 Race Party at The Columbia Club!
Tonight at SENSU…225 South Meridian…Maggie Connor of The Haute Hoosier and Lindsey Menner will be hosting an Asian Inspired Fashion Show starting at 9pm. The event is $5 or free with your SIN card! So we thought we’d give you a little preview from last year’s Fashion Week in China…
